Ingredients
-
1/4 cup fresh lemon (or lime) juice
-
2 tbsp chopped onion
-
16 large shrimp
-
1/4 cup Olive Oil
-
1 pinch of Wild Forest Truffle Sea Salt
-
1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper
-
2 cloves of finely chopped garlic
-
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil or parsley leaves
-
1 drizzle Wild Forest White Truffle Oil
Directions
Clean shrimp completely and remove veins. (You can buy them already cleaned). Remove tails if desired.
Place prepared & cleaned shrimp in a dish and sprinkle with Wild Forest Truffle Oil, cover plate tightly and refrigerate until you're ready to cook them.
Using a large bowl with an electric mixer or a blender, combine together olive oil, lemon or lime juice, onion, garlic and basil (or parsley) a pinch of Wild Forest Truffle Sea Salt and ground black pepper for taste. Blend just enough to mix the ingredients smoothly then set aside for later.
Spray the pre-heated barbecue grill with olive oil to avoid the food sticking.(You can also use an indoor electric grill or an oven broiler.)
Next, dip the shrimp in the olive oil mixture. Place the coated shrimp onto the hot grill and cook approximately 2 minutes on one side, then turn and cook another 1 minute or until shrimp are opaque in center.
Do Not Over Cook! Remove from grill.
Arrange shrimp up on a platter, spread lightly with the truffle oil mix. Place unused mix in a bowl and use for dipping.
Sprinkle with Wild Forest White Truffle Oil. Serve with grilled corn on the cob, a tossed salad, grill zucchini, bean salad, or what ever your taste desires.
Enjoy!
