Ingredients

1 tbsp unsalted butter

2 whole figs

1 1/2 tbsps MarDona Fig Balsamic Glaze

2 tbsps Port Wine (or sweet red wine)

1 grind fresh cracked black pepper

1 tbsp water
Directions
1. Wash and dry the figs.
2. Melt butter and saute the figs cut side facing down in a standard saute pan (not a non-stick variety) over medium heat. Continue until the figs are caramelized.
3. Remove the figs from the pan and place on the side.
4.Lower the heat, and add the port wine, Mardona Fig Balsamic Glaze, black pepper, and the water. Bring to a simmer, and then stir constantly until it becomes thick.
5. Place the sauce over the figs and serve.
