Ingredients

1 whole turkey (about 12 pounds)

3/4 cup Wild Forest Products Garlic Olive Oil

2 tbsp garlic powder

2 tsp basil (dried)

1 tsp sage (ground)

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 cups water
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Clean the turkey well and place in a roasting pan with a lid.
3. Combine Wild Forest Products Garlic Olive Oil, garlic powder, ground sage, dried basil, black pepper and salt in a small bowl.
4. Apply this mixture to the outside of the turkey using a basting brush.
5. Place the turkey in a pan, and pour water into the bottom of the pan and then cover with the lid.
6.Bake the turkey in the oven for about 3 to 3.5 hours, or until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the thigh measures 180 degrees F.
7. Take the turkey out of the oven and let it rest/stand for 30 minutes, then carve.
